I decided to give the car a quick wash last week, and thought I’ll spray a bit of tar remover on it, allow it to work for a few minutes then blast snow foam before a lambs wool mitt wash.... turn out a royal fu&@k up!! The tar ran down the car leaving huge tar run marks all over the paintwork
has to polish the whole car to get It back to how it should be, still waiting for another dry day to get the wax Would have done this in a day no probs during the summer but it’s a different game in the winter! So moral of the story .... I’ll stick to a normal wash including cleaning door checks etc once a week during winter and get the polishing& wax during the summer

Just give mine a wash, dry off the windows only, during winter. Will wash and use clay mit and wax at the beginning of winter and again late spring. Too much like hard work doing it any more, than that. It gets a wash only, about every two weeks through summer.
