    Unbelievable eh.
    It's just a con.
As mentioned before, they'll hit you with a huge quote as they don't want your business.

Mine is 420 with full RAC cover, every extra you can get.

Full no claims, DN19 area, 10000 pleasure and commute, no convictions, 1 accident that's not, reported pheasant hitting Astra, never claimed, still goes against me.

To be fair I can get it for under 200 but barebones insurance.

I have the protection but don't waste money on legal expenses etc, far too many ambulance chasers willing to help. Chris Knott are on the Vectra forum, or were when I was on it,.. weren't ever very competitive, to say they are specialist and niche, wasn't impressed at all. Get much cheaper doing my own searching,

Yes I tried them when I had my Vectra. Think they were nearly double the price.

You have to remember that there'll never be one single provider who'll be best for 100% of people, otherwise they'd insure the whole country and clearly no one does that.

Chris Knott signs up 40% of quotes offered in a good month, always 30%+ (which is really high in an industry that cites 9% as the norm) and we retain 83% of customers at renewal, so we must be doing something right. All we ask is that members get a quote. Let the quote then speak for itself. Sometimes we'll be your best on price alone, other times we won't, but isn't that the way it works wherever you get your quotes from? You've statistically got more chance of Chris Knott being your best option than those companies who achieve just that 9% sign-up rate because we have access to better rates for car club members and enthusiasts, but it's not promising to be the best for everyone.

The problem with insurance of any kind is that you only find out how good the company is when you make a claim. Luckily for most of us, claiming on our insurance is a rare event. Last year I made a claim for being tail-ended through my car insurers (eSure), and was impressed by their handling of the claim (although not by their nominated repairer, but that's another issue). Consequently, when renewal came round in January I renewed with them, even though I could have saved maybe 40 on my annual premium by going to a different company.
However, next January I will probably still search the comparison sites, and maybe even get a quote from Chris Knott.

I'm sure for some people you will be ideal, so many options and variables for each person and car. You offer a service, we are able to try , if it's not right or suits us then so be it.
As I always say If we all liked the same thing, she would be one tired woman .

Years ago when i was on Vectra C forum i got quote from you my jaws dropped like this

Went with AdrianFlux after and been with them for years until i found greenlight (the best so far, no price increase for cosmetic upgrades and minor performance stuff like cone filter or exhaust)

    83% at what criteria?

All you ask is for members to get a quote.........or not as the case may be.
