  • Tubular Manifold on a diesel?

I had this mad out of the blue idea last week at the possibility of having a tubular manifold made up for mine, but would there be any benefit or negative sides to having one on a diesel?

The standard manifold looks quite restrictive, pushing all 4 exhaust ports out into one.....and on petrol models it benefits going tubular due to giving the gasses a free-er flow out of the engine.

    Any thoughts peeps?

Anything's possible to be fabricated, I understand the space issue, but I've seen all sorts of strange shaped manifolds made due to lack of space
