    Service vehicle soon & loss of power

    My 2010 2.0 cdti 160bhp has started giving the service vehicle soon msg on the dash and is accompanied by the refusal to rev past 2000rpm. Mainly does it when cold, Soon as I press the menu button it clears and drives as normal. Pulls fine. No hesitation.. no smoke from the exhaust. Thought it was the dpf regeneration so gave it a 50mile run at 80mph in 4th on the motorway. No change.
    I changed the boost pipe when I got the car a MTH ago along with the turbo solenoid so doubt it cud be them.
    Guessing I need a diagnostic doing unless anyone has any suggestions.

    Deffo plug in and see what's stored in the ECU.

          It goes in Wednesday morning so I'll update when it's been diagnosed. Hoping it's just a sensor or something simple..

            The boost pipe had a small hole in it.. new pipe n all's fixed
