Delivery Friday so 'should' be fitted at the weekend. I'm away mid week so I chose Friday, plus i'd be the one person trying to change a front grille when the evening light is fading and it's raining.

Little bit of advice for you when replacing your grill---its a lot easier to have another set of hands and with the locking tabs it helps if you can get some small wedges[wood would do--about 10-12 mm width and you use these to push the locking tabs closed---you will see the locking tabs once you get the bumper off-----Dave

I'm going to get a very good friend of mine to give me a hand this weekend to fit the grille. Some of you may know Drinky from Vec-C; there's nothing he can't fit.

Does your grille allow air flow through it ? it might just be the way the pic is taking

The top two strips of the grille are solid but the rest is open.

The Vx standard grille is also blocked at the top with the large chrome bar and badge, so I guess it's all to protect something from the weather.

And is it just a standard black grille underneath? I know I can paint it or wrap it but just wondered if anyone has done it?

I couldn't help but got for a hex mesh grill, as soon as I saw it I needed it! Cost just shy of £70 and only took me an hour after work on my own to fit!
I know I'm biased, but I think it's the best the grill can look hahaha.Click image for larger version
