Wing Mirror - 2012 SRi

Afternoon all,

I recently managed to damage the case around my nearside wing mirror which was a real pain. I managed to find a new cover in the right colour but I've got absolutely no idea how to replace the thing. I'm not exactly gifted in the mechanical department so it it something easyish that I can tackle or might it be one for a garage to do/fleece me in the process? I do have a mate who's very competent who may well be prepared to have a go as long as I've got some instructions or something!

Has anyone done this before?

It's a door mirror.

Cars nowadays don't have wing mirrors.

they just clip off,,but you need to use some force as some of the clips can be quite stubborn
