Hello Keith as Dave above dexos 2 spec oil .
Filter housing is accessible from behind o/s wheel arch , it's at the back of the engine
To get filter housing / cannister off you require a 32mm socket as in photo the canister is black plastic with the 32mm end .undo just like any normal bolt , but put a piece of card underneath to catch any oil . , remove pull off the filter element , replace clip it on and in the new filter box will be 2 or 2 big rubber O rings they go on the threads of canister , remove old ones and replace with new .
The socket is available on that well known auction site .

i tend to do an engine oil flush every other oil change. I am used to tuning the t1ts off my cars and know the need to keep the oil and oil galleries in tip top condition. Dirty oil is the biggest killer of turbos and dirty oil galleries reduces the flow of oil to things like chain tensioners causing premataure wear and potential failure..

Its up to you if you wish to do it but i have never had any internal wear issues or failure of my modified turbos or chains, I tend to double the horsepower on my cars and they went like the proverbial or a shovel despite having over 100k on the clock....

    Hi Dave

I managed to find my Oil and Filter at Autovax, I wondered if your mate, that owns Vectra
at Sulgrave with the ramps, it would save me a journey up to yours, I did have him in
my mobile contacts but my phone crashed, so I dont have his name or number to ring
do you think he would help out ?

    Regards Keith
