  • Hello

    Hi,

I'm a new member to the forum. I have an Insignia B, does anyone else experience a noticeable "clunk" sound from the brake pedal when releasing the pedal when in returns back to it normal position?

    Hi,

I can't say I have. Does it do it every time you use the brake?

      Hi,

I notice it most around town or in traffic, when you are braking lightly, doesn't do it as much when breaking more heavily.

I'll have a listen but I haven't noticed it before.

Hi there welcome along, i do admit i have noticed a 'clunk' now and then, but only when the car has been sitting for a while, and it's when i press the foot brake to release the E Brake. Never thought much of it, i put it down to pressure being released off the caliper, as my drive way is on a slight slope.

I'm in a bog standard CDTI.

I had a listen last night, radio off etc but couldn't hear anything after braking.
