I do have a photo of the red Cavalier 1.8GLi somewhere before i moved here, will try to dig it out.

Plenty of cars in-between these, but 1.6 Cav had for 5 years, 2.0 Diesel Vectra had 3 years, Astra J Sri had 3.5 years, Insignia just 8 months or so.

I have also had a 1.7 diesel cavalier,
    Two vectra b’s. Also diesel.
A Vectra c which was diesel.
Now on my Insignia 2.0 cdti.

Never realised how many diesel cars I have owned until just.
As for reliability, I have never had any major issues or failures on these cars. Except for the Vectra c which needed a crank sensor replacing as it kept throwing a fault up and going into limp mode.

Also owned other petrol cavaliers and other models from the dark side.
LED interior lights. Chrome mirror caps & door handle covers. LED reverse light bulbs. Pedal box. Atomic Alloys. Steel Structure spare wheel. Boot floor risers. Rear exit exhaust & rear valance. M Y ‘15’ front grille.
