  • Wing mirror glass

Noticed earlier on today the passenger side wing mirror glass was wobbling, I’ve had a look and it looks as if it’s really loose, does the glass stick on somehow or is it clipped??

    TIA

It’s usually on a plastic clip frame, and the adhesive holding on has dried out.
I used a spray glue last time to fasten the mirror back on.

I just used some super strong Velcro and stuck it back on, will this affect the heating?

        I think it would unfortunately.
It might carry some heat thru the tape but not a lot. You don’t have to worry about it til next winter tho [emoji1787]
Normal double sided tape would be better as thinner.

Cheers thanks, do you have to buy a whole new glass with the backing on, and does this clip in?

          Just so i know

            You can buy either.
Cheapest will be just the glass, but an extra few quid will have them with the plastic frame. Prob £10 or less.
Make sure you get heated one and the correct side

eBay will keep price down. Dealer and Autoparts places obviously more

Had this with my Vectra about two years ago, just stuck it back on with some Araldite, been perfect since.
