    Floss is what I heard like so wanted to see any other ideas last thing I want is to ruin my paint

    Have heard. WD40 squirted down back softens the glue, then bank card to lift away.

    Just out of interest, what adhesive would you use to put decals back on?

    Again, it's personal preference here, but Id use double sided trim tape.

    Heat gun or hair dryer and like said above, and old credit card type plastic card.
    Heat the badges and then slide the card under the letters, should come off fairly easily.
    Once the chrome letters come off, you will be left with some of the foam tape still on the paint work.
    Heat until sticky, then either rub with your finger or use a cloth and it will almost all eventually come off.
    Use a little thinners on a cloth to remove any residue that is left.
    Lastly, the badge or badges will have left a ghost effect in the paint, give it a good polish with a rubbing compound or T cut to remove this (may take a few attempts).
