    Hi all
Soon to be a proud owner of the Insignia. I have a few questions ?
Is there a model that has more problems over others ?
    I'm looking at something around a 10 to 12 plate .
I see the price for 130bhp seems quite achievable

Are you looking at petrol or Diesel engines?

130bhp diesel has the M32 gearbox which is prone to failure and requires new bearings.
160bhp has the F40 gearbox which is far more reliable.
Diesels also suffer from an oil seal issue but if changed early enough should give you no issues.
Someone with more knowledge than me will be along to advise some more.
