I've had my 2015 tourer 3 weeks now but one thing is really bugging me. The car has had one previous owner from new and 64,400 on the clock when I got it. The thing that's bothering me is the steering wheel. The leather on the top and 1/2 way round is really worn and is horrible to hold as it's so rough. Do suspect the car has more mileage or maybe it was just someone with really sweaty hands holding the steering wheel really tight. 90% of previous service history is intact so maybe I'm wrong about the mileage. Now looking for a cover for the steering wheel or possible replacement if easy to do. Any thoughts guys.

My 2015 Elite ST also has a rough steering wheel and that is a FSH 36000 miler ex- motability car. The wheel leather is worn and rough from the top to about 135 degrees. I think it was down to the previous keeper and I have cleaned the wheel and that took loads of crud off. Doesn't say much for the Vx main dealer car prep, but the wheel is much nicer to hold now. I have considered lightly sanding the leather but for now I am happy.
My 2011 Mercedes C250 CDi has a leather wheel with only slight shiny areas due to wear, but that has done nearly 120,000 miles, so is to be expected.
