  • Upgrade infotainment system from standard to nav with reversing camera

How easy is it to upgrade the infotainment system from the standard one, to the nav system with reversing camera and touch screen?

Not very easy. Lost of chopping and joining. And big bucks to send away for coding.

think the average cost is gonna be about £800 or so...

this would cost of the HMI module (2.0), radio module, screen, dash loom (for your specific car) and labour costs of approx £200 to £250 to fit it

You can get the smaller plugs that you splice into existing loom. However I took me what seemed an eternity to splice into radio wiring then into the bcm. Would make so much more sense to buy the whole loom as plasma said. Worth it all in the long run though in my eyes. And an achievement as Vauxhall said it cannot be done.. and me and lewish did it in 2 hours at Rother valley [emoji3]
