Almost back behind the wheel...
Hi all, I've just picked up a 2016 Insignia, 6000 miles on the clock, and new to me. Unfortunately I can't yet drive it as i'm recovering from ankle surgery although my partner is enjoying it a little too much; more than her own Astra J GTC!

Well finally heard from the dealer, looks like the alternator had packed up so I guess a new thread about costs will be created shortly

They say it will be completed under warranty but never heard of an alternator dying without any warning. They have had to wait until today to get parts so it will be Monday at the earliest before the car comes back...Originally posted by RBH View Post
