    1.8 flywheel

    hello just wondering if any one knows a solid conversion for the 1.8 I've got a noise when cold and pulling away don't think it's flywheel but thought if there was a conversation about or if something else would fit I'd do it while I'm there thanks chris

    Bad idea doing that to a 1.8. it has the m32 box,which isn't the strongest gearbox to start with
    ​2015 Sri vx line nav Biturbo . Sri heated leather.5500k AFL . Vx line 20s,8inch LCD dash .FLEXride.Reverse cam.Irmscher grill.235hp and 480 torqs.30mm lowering springs.20mm H&R spacers all round. Mtec drilled discs on rear,VXR 355mm drilled on front,with Brembo 4 pot calipers. Auto wipers .VX puddle lights.Carbon effect black roof wrap.Irmscher roof spoiler.

    just thought as they do solid for the diesal petrol has less torque, I know the bearings are week even on the later box.

    I thought 1,8 is a petrol and they usually have F17, F18 boxes

    Yes they are. As @exclusiv said, the 1.8 only comes with M32.

    Most cars these days are probably fitted with dual mass flywheel.
