Hi all. Thinking of getting a bigger car as family is expanding. I am leaning towards a zafira tourer 2.0 Sri, 2014 +. Does anyone know of any issues I should be aware of. I've had my siggy for 2 1/2 years and had no real issues as yet, I believe the engine and box are the same. Any feedback would be appreciated.. Thanks

Aren't Zafira's known for bursting into flames ?

VAUXHALL has recalled 47,000 cars in the UK over risks that the vehicles Electronic Climate Control (ECC) could explode into flames.

My son has a 2015 tourer and loves it. It's the 163 version and is mapped to 195.
It's got all the toys and is unusual for the SRI so the original owner must have ticked a few boxes

Looking at a 65 plate sri on A/T.. It looks well nice, but while I was searching, a chevrolet captiva ltz popped up, has anyone had any dealing with the captiva, or does anyone know about them. 7 seats is not a necessity, but an option, mainly to take the grandkids out... But I need something reliable, as its going to be the family car for a good few years... We also go to Skegness every year, so it will save me a bunch on minibus costs..

They don't hold their value as well as vauxhall, I looked once, found them a bit too plasticy for me.

My neighbor had a captiva, but it kept going wrong so he doesn't have it now ,
But another to consider is nissan qashqai +2 I've got one ( but don't tell the moderators )
And it's just dose everything I want it to , only thing is that there are plenty around , but prices are still high .
