Hi everyone
Yesterday I drove around 3 hours to Bristol and back from London with no issue until I was about 40 minutes from home on a residential road and put my foot down in second to drive around someone. It was fairly spirited driving but in any case as the revs hit a level I cannot remember power seemed to go and it would not go above 40mph. There was no turbo I am sure of that and it flashed service soon.
I was actually a few minutes from my Grandad so thought I would pop in and say hello, after 45 minutes I got back in the car and started it up and all was back to normal. I never need to go above 3000 revs at any point in this car with the power it has so I am not sure if it flicked up above this level and cut out and whether it would do it again but I didn't want to test it, I had about 30 minutes on the A3 to get home so 40mph would have been awful.
I wondered if anyone had ideas? I have done a number of long motorway journeys in the past month so from my basic knowledge of the DPF I would hope that gets regularly regenerated by the car...
Thank you in advance.
