I reckon there may be an uplift in demand when the GS turns 3 years old next year and the earliest models start dropping out of warranty. Certainly I have no interest in modding mine (beyond the odd cosmetics) until then, although mine is a petrol 1.5.

Yeah I think that's the main problem, although these can be easily removed so there is no warranty issue.
