  • A20nht clutch and DMF replacement

I have just got a 4x4 Sri 2.0L turbo petrol insignia with a knackered clutch.

I'm buying a new Sachs DMF, LUK clutch and pressure plate, LUK CSC. On the DMF it says pilot bearing not included, but I can't find one on the net is this part replaceable on my car?

      Thanks for your reply.

Excuse my ignorance isn't that built into the clutch slave cylinder on this car?

      So pilot bearing = CSC??

No...the pilot bearing supports the crankshaft.
The CSC or slave is used for moving the clutch plate on to the pressure plate/flywheel.

So would it be ordinary to replace this during a clutch and DMF change?

Yes if your splitting the gearbox replace all the components, purely down to labour inputs.
