Sunstrips

Hi everyone, just wondering if people still put sunstrips on the front window like my old orion 1.6 efi had, I mentioned it to my Mrs about putting one on her fiesta zetec s and she said no way nobody does it anymore ? But I want to put a silver one on my veccy, what do you guys think

Yeah I might just put one on anyway , if it looks crap IL take it off

My son had one on his astra h back in the day. A silver strip with a Vauxhall sticker and a couple of griffins stuck on it. Looked quite effective.

Sorry but just no to them for me but we can't all be the same, you might is well put them go fast stripes in middle of bonnet will give you extra 10 hp couldn't help my self


Oh another note if you go with black like window tints might look good, sometimes car windscreens would have them on originally

Me m8 took his car for an mot a few weeks ago and was told to take his off or it would be a fail.

Ok, my mate does my Mots so he won't fail that, and for the sake of a 10er if he did fail then I would just go and put one back on

Shouldn't be a fail....What about the sun visors? They block the view along the top edge.

Reading other places it seems that if its affixed to the outside of the window and the wipers sweep over it then its a fail for interfering with the sweep of the wipers. Also bits about obscuring field of vision within certain distance of a particular point.
