  • 2016 CDTi SRI VX LINE NAV SD Slot

I have just got my Insignia today from the garage. The only thing is I cannot locate the SD card slot that it's meant to have. I have checked under the arm rest but it's just one USB slot along with an AUX slot. Any help gratefully appreciated

I'm pretty sure the 2016 insignia doesn't have an SD card slot.

Thanks guys a little false advertising by Arnold Clark saying it had one. I have seen that the USB units can be replaced so my next question would be do you think I could replace the USB unit with one that has an SD card slot and would it work?

It's possible. Also a converter should plug straight into the usb slot with an sd card plugged into that. I'm puzzled though. Why would you want to do that? Its far easier to just load a usb drive. The reason they moved away from sd cards is progress an sd is an older format really only used in micro form in phones and tablets.

As above, if you must have a card buy a USB adapter. Or like most connect a USB 3 hub and connect various stuff
