      No need for anyone to apologise, it was my choice to have the DPF removed, I’m well aware of the legal implications.

      I know it’s bad in terms of pollution etc...

      Some may even call me naive or stupid...

      Anyway, car has now had another service (just had a major service 1500 miles ago!)

      Also had a new diverter valve fitted, what a difference that made... smiles all round.

      Here’s a picture next to my old Audi, that piece of **** is the reason why I hate DPF’s.

      It went into countless garages, in relation to the DPF, everyone said it was fine after a regen, they said it was in too good of a condition to replace. One day driving along, car starts knocking its head off, destroyed the cam lobes and lifters. Had all of them replaced and then it wouldn’t start, went to two different specialists to diagnose it, turns out the DPF was so blocked no air could pass through it, suffocating the engine. I’d had enough at this point and I gave the car away. I wasn’t prepared to throw any more money at it.
