Define everything? It should read fault codes. That's all I used it for.

Well just want accurate codes read. If got to spend may as well get one that can perform manual Regen, air bags, AFL, all the other stuff etc. I'm on Windows 10 so far as I can see already at £50 for opcom.

If you're on facebook you can contact jamie winter (I think) or the opcom group.

Touch wood I never had anything go wrong on my old car. Apart from when I broke things when modding.

When I get another one I will be in the same boat. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks. Don't do faceache, or any social media. Il look into it some more. Planning on keeping car another three years if all goes well , maybe longer. Still have best part of two years warranty.

Did you install yourself on Windows 10?

Yes but I work in IT so can persevere/sort of know how to get it to work.

IIRC op-com.co.uk offer a setup service via teamviewer

Yes they do but at £15 for something I can maybe do myself. Iv built PC's, installed Windows, changed registry etc etc. On a scale 1-10 how hard is it, and what needs to be done? Ports etc?

It's quite easy. You have to disable driver signing.. something or other. Then install drivers

Yes exactly that, you're just forcing the ability to install unsigned drivers and allowing OpCom to use it, plenty of warnings will pop up but its trusted as its you doing it.

I did find OpCom software slower to navigate/load different menus on Windows 10 over it being installed on Windows 7 which made its use frustrating when on time constraints. I now have a crappy netbook laptop with Windows 7 just for OpCom
