Suspect fuel pump

Broke down the other day guy said suspect fuel pump. I swapped a relay in the fuse box and started but sounds really loud any ideas?

What sounds loud ?
If you changed the relay and it started, pump was probably disabled.

Just sounds like a tractor not quiet like it was before the problem I’ll have to try and take a video.

Perhaps you have air in the system ? Try a run out, if you think it's Ok, don't if you think it could damage something.

Yeah that’s my only worry if I damage it more by driving it

What model insignia are we talking about ? Petrol ? Diesel ?
What year is the car ? What gearbox?
It's a guess at the moment.

No fault codes when plugged in.

Canb you tell me where the Fuel Pump Relay is located, what number it is in the fusebox and in which fuse box it lives please?
