  • What constitutes a modification?

    Interesting article here:
The study identified which modifications to a vehicle would increase motor insurance premiums most, from changing the wheels to significant performance upgrades.

    Doesn't mention black wheels though

Even clear stone chip protection film.....Insurance companies are conning b4stards and can fcuk right off!

The rule should be as long as you haven't made performance changes you only need to tell them of changes if if you want them to replace them changes in the event of a claim for damage. If you don't let them know, they repair to standard.

Whats gonna be next....Are you likely to go watch football? Cos that'll cost you double! FCUK OFF!!!

Have you told your insurers about your black wheels? You might get a discount

I tell my insurance company sweet Fanny Adams. As I said, they're conning tw4ts with a licence to print money from motorists who are forced into paying huge amounts for very little in return.

My car is structurally and performance standard. The changes to my car make not one iota to any claim that may be made by me or against me so the don't need to know.

The government has given them too much flexibility but we all know why.....TAX!

Yes you do need to declare decals, i have raised this with my modified insurance specialist. Literally anything extra added to the car since leaving the factory is class as modification. Even a tow bar i heard.
            It is a joke tbh
