Hi all,
Had a search through related posts about 4wd problems but could not find answer to my issue.
I have a 09 insignia 2.0T 4x4 with 90000 on the clock.
The issue I have is during acceleration through the first 4 gears I get a thud from the rear. The harder I accelerate the louder and closer together the thuds get. It feels like it comes from each rear wheel alternatively. The issue only arises once the haldex unit is running warm. The car does also judder when reversing on full lock which I'm aware it a tell tale sign of haldex unit issues.
My thoughts are the haldex unit oil level is low which is only noticeable once oil has warmed/thinned out. Due to this the haldex unit is struggling to operate correctly and affecting drive to rear wheels.
Just looking to get a feel from you guys if you suspect the same or if there is a another problem so I don't go ordering unnecessary parts
Thanks
