Hi. I have a insignia elite 170bhp and the error code p11dc has came up after around 30 miles after getting a mot. The mot did a emissions test and it passed but as I say the engine light vs ame on shortly after. I have reset it but it has came back on around 250 miles after it first came on. I have looked into it and it says its a nox sensor position 2. I have had a look at it today but the wires look fine so I was just wondering if it would definitely be this as its 300 quid for a new one from the stealers. Sorry its a bit long winded but I'm going on holiday soon and I don't really want this expense before then. Thanks. Steve.

Hello Steve only thing you could try is testing the circuit for continuity back probe the wires to see if you have an open line .
But seeing as it's taken 200 miles for it to come back on then I'm afraid it's prolly your NoX sensor that's gone wobbly .

Hello all IÂ’ve had the same code come up and am struggling to find somewhere that tells me where the sensor is located. Where on the car did you find the sensor and control module? Already had to replace the position 1 sensor so starting to think there could be something more at fault causing the sensors to become damaged.
