    Possible crankshaft position sensor error

    Forum Key Rings
Just been to Kwik fit for a free diagnostics on my insignia 2.0 cdti eco flex and they've told me the errors are related to glow plugs and crankshaft position sensor. They went on to say that my vehicle only has 2 pressure sensor glow plugs (2 standard ones) and should have 4 sensor type fitted???? The issue with the car is the "service vehicle soon" Message which came up on an A road when accelerating over 2000 revs. The car is juddery (lumpy) on acceleration over 2000 revs periodically.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As above get the codes but a likely culprit is a split intercooler boost hose

I'll have to get them read by someone else as Kwik fit just waffles about me having the wrong glow plugs and didn't actually offer up the codes.... It was a free diagnostic. I changed the boost pipe less than 2 years ago.... Surely it can't of gone already.? I'll pay for the codes to be checked by a decent company this time.
