  • white headlight bulbs for grand sport

hi guys, looking to get some 'white bulbs' to match DRL's for headlights in a 17 plate. don't really want to go down HID route, and got confused reading the sticky. is there a play and play bulb which will do what i want. TIA

    Hi!
I think Osram or Philips is best way to go, here's one video to youtube of comparison 3 different bulbs:

Read the comments too, because many are talking that the brightness of these for road use is not too good.

Don't waste your cash on these standard bulbs.
You won't get anything like white with them
Standard bulbs in the Insignia projector headlights are absolutely crap.

The only ways to go is a HID kit or LEDs.

I've had hid kits in my cars going back to my old vectra b...when the kits were mega expensive.
The kit I've got in my insignia is nearly 2 years old....£15 from ebay.
I've not had any issues with them at all.

I went through a shed load of bulbs chasing that white look but none came close to white against the drls. I tried some leds but the light spread was terrible. Then Defie put me onto some leds he'd found that had the led chips it the correct place to match the halogen light cut off. I've had them in a while now and never been flashed once. This is them https://www.amazon.co.uk/Safego-Head...s%2C136&sr=8-1 You also need these error chancellors to stop you getting an error message on your dash https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X-Canbus...EAAOSw5wVdMCQo

This is what the leds look like against the drls

And this shows the cut off with the kick up to the left as it's supposed to be

It's the only way you're gonna get the look you want.
