Hi has anyone had any issues with a solid flywheel conversion, would I be better off sticking with a original dmf. Thanks everyone [emoji16]

Blast off leeroy 72 and welcome to the mad house .
As per your question, I would stick to the original DMF , not saying you will get vibration. But I've known on another forum that some have suffered by going solid . Don't want to be doing the job twice .
    But that's my opinion.

I've heard so many rumours about gearboxes going bang and crank shaft issues was just thinking about saving a few pennies [emoji16]

Personally I’d stick to the dmf, I know they are expensive but you hear a lot of stories about people regretting the solid conversations.

I am of the opinion that converting to solid flywheels is ok as a car gets toward end of its life (cars less than £1000) but on higher value the conversion could cost more in the long run than the savings made.
