Headlamp problem

So folks I am picking up my car today from the “other” mechanic. I have had a new (well eBay new) fuse box fitted and the issue is solved. He was convinced it wasn’t the BCM as even with the main beam fuses pulled out the blue “full beam” light was showing on the dash if I flicked the indicator stalk. I’ve yet to fetch it but he says the problem is solved. I have the old fuse box and there is a fair amount of corrosion around one of the 2 holes where each of the fuses goes. And the cost? Well £20 for the fuse box and £30 to fit it. So much better than the £100’s I’d been quoted by the first garage. He diagnosed it with the appropriate software and sorted it with minimal fuss. Happy girlie...hopefully
