Clutch gone

Just drove it, don't feel like my car. Just asked mechanic if they need to bed in, sounds like a tank when start engine, blip throttle it goes and really quiet. Had a good 6 inch travel on old clutch on pedal, this bites with next to no travel when releasing clutch. Just done a few miles, pulls like a train, feels smooth. Just me to get used to new clutch I think.

Just got home from work, its back sat on the drive. £990 including doing puncture in rear tyre.

Roads flooded around here, not going out tonight will see how she drives in the morning.

Get bloody out there and throw some expensive aldi magnum over it.....be gleaming in the morning

when my XP2 had a new clutch, felt vastly different, yep, just need to get used to it. Glad it's back but not so good is the open wallet surgery. oooooch

Yeah needs a good run. £750 on parts rest labour. It's done now, just hope that's it for a while.
