Does this sounds like the seal? Or more sensor issue?
It's telling you that it's ready to give up the ghost.

You could try checking your oil level before restarting, make sure oil level is ok.
But unfortunately oil pressure light coming on not a good sign, seal or pump or low oil, can only be one of these 3 really.

Oil level is bang on, driveway is level. Just makes me wonder as it’s only when car is switched off then on within few seconds/ minute, if I didn’t do this I wouldn’t have seen the oil pressure light.

You could pretend you never saw it haha. Mine does this on extremely cold mornings, I'm trying to give it an oil and filter change first, if my sump plug will ever come off!

That’s the thing if I hadn’t turned engine on to see the first message again Then oil pressure wouldn’t have come on, and same today if I’d have switched off and left it or say parked up, put fuel in or something then back on, because it’s been few mins oil light wouldn’t have come on, just spoke to garage about it and he doesn’t seem overly concerned and thinks it’s possibly a lazy oil pressure switch not registering fast enough, but doesn’t think it’s the seal as it’s not behaving like the seal does such as cold mornings, mine was fine even with very heavy frost other day.
As for sump plug my first insignia I was sure it had been gunned in, could never remove it so just used a oil pump to suck oil out via dip stick, not ideal but with oil change every 6000 it didn’t have chance to sludge up.

Have you done an oil and filter change? Oil could be thinning out ,
