  • How to re,I’ve side linings in boot

    2011 tourer elite

We need to remove the side linings in the boot to get to the tailgate power lift unit, does anyone know how to do this please?

Anyone know if the power unit would be coded, boot won’t open and we are still searching for the reason.

    Thanks in advance

Would be useful to get a diagnostic machine on it. Opcom is the best one to go for.

Hopefully it will show you if there are any faults with said ECU.

Could have possibly been water damaged.

No idea if they need programming I wouldn't have thought so. The lining comes out pretty easy just take out the plastic guards (no idea of their name) and give it a firm tug.

Should be on the left hand side of the boot.

We have already replaced the Ecu it’s the actual motor that powers the struts we are trying to get to now, apparently it also takes on water and may be shorted out, about the only thing left to check now.

Unfortunately opcom doesnt seem to be Mac compatible.
