Hi,
The NAVI600 suddenly totally died, and it's not the fuse of the wiring, the garage charged £90 to check it and adivse it is dead!
The car is Insignia 2012 (62)
So I need a replacement. 3 options seem to exist:
1/ identical replacement NAVI600 from ebay (£150 to £250), but with no codes, I don't think there is much hope of success. They need to be supplied with "divorce codes".
2/ Android 9. But I want it to make use of the large screen space at the top of the centre console. These exist for about £350 from ebay/icebox auto/china.
Has anybody got one of these? Do the existing radio/cd/nav controls in the centre still work? Steering wheen controls?
I read posts by CALEB on here, but they are old, and for Android 4.4 (2016), so I want current info please. He did say recently he finally got the buttons working, but didn't say how.
3/ new navi 600 from vauxhall for £1000 (not really an option then!)
Has anybody replaced the navi 600/900 in their cars with an android? I don't want the double din unit that fits in the lower part of the centre console because this means a blank screen still exists at the top!
Any advice will be most welocme!
