So,
It was only a passing thought to see if a forum existed (which it obviously would) you could own a soviet era rust box with a mower motor and there would probably be a forum for it.
I've owned mine for about a year now and so far I'm enjoying it. I'm having a good lucky run so far, I haven't frantically hunted down this forum with a problem to present, but I have experienced some funny little things that may have been experienced by others. Come to think of it, I also have a few infotainment quirks that I'll probably find a few threads about.
On the whole though, for me It was an ideal option, a practical one and it presented itself at the right time for a good price. It was an ex Rep's car for the Vauxhall retailer I worked for at the time, driven for only a matter of months from new with very low mileage and was in mint condition. Since then it's proved to be a very good car.
As an active musician playing a big (and very pretentious) drum kit, I needed a few things out of whatever vehicle I was going to buy at the time and after having a new Combo van for a while I needed it to be obviously roomy, have a decent loading aperture, and have a good flat deck after dropping the seats. I wanted a car so I could have all the seats though this time, and so far its worked very well. What happened to the Combo is another story...
The Elite Nav model is still a budget 'luxury' attempt at a Sports Tourer but it does drive well for me and has some very nice little features....
The ones I'm having a good time with so far are...
Things I'm personally not so hot on, they're not too much of an issue if at all, but do annoy me occasionally.
Other than that, so far, so good....

The ones I'm having a good time with so far are...
- The heated seats and at this time of year they're amazing. They get fairly hot actually on 3 but are a nice little 'ass kiss' on a cold morning commute.
- The tracking LED (VERY BRIGHT) headlights are pretty good, the auto dip can be pretty interesting sometimes in certain conditions but in general, it works.
- The 'Rain Sense' wipers work very well for me, they self adapt to the rain changing nicely and surprise me at times.
- The LBBB (as I call it) is a decent key fob feature to have, many a time with full hands has that come in handy. Some times it makes me feel like a total D***
- The audio system is pretty decent, the stock sub helps give it a good amount of beans and stays pretty clear whilst fairly high.
- I love the lumbar multi-way button, that is something I never thought I would tweak so much.
- Oh, and that tiny 2inch or so deep bit of extra boot space under the actual boot space, loving that for the drum mats, and a couple of brollys!, and the access panel for it is sold.
Things I'm personally not so hot on, they're not too much of an issue if at all, but do annoy me occasionally.
- The Electronic hand brake. The auto release is dramatic, the manual release is slow, the 'double strength' feature seems pointless to me too, just make the application strong everytime.
- SHIFT DENIED
- No sufficient drainage at the lowest point of the tailgate, the inside of that panel holds loads of water after washing I noticed. unless I raise it just over half way and it all comes gushing out of 2 seemingly bad placed holes.
- Shift Denied
Other than that, so far, so good....
