I can remember in my wild rebellious youth when I had a fiat 131 , I had fairy lights lights in my car the old glass type ,it was so easy just to run a cable to the tail lights to make them work it was so easy , none of this canbus system just simple 12 volt supply , had the desired effect.
But when I had this mad 5 minutes of putting led logo puddle lights in the roof lining and rear doors of my 9-3 , it was a complete mine field trying to confuse the canbus system to accept them , in the end I had to run the wires from the footwell lights to get them to work .
Electrics in cars thease days is like trying to spin plates on sticks .
Anyway I'm going to take some viagra and see what comes up !
