    Everywhere has fiver hand car washes now, i live in Hartlepool and 2 have not long been raided by the imigration services

    I take it most members would not let anyone else wash there car , but there is exploitation going on , not at all, but some

    There's a few around here,but they have been going a few years now,one called 'charlies' has a good reputation,never use them myself,even do the works van myself!!

          This was apparently going on in Ferryhill near me. A worker was taken into care who had trench foot. His shoes had to be surgically removed from his feet. Prior to that I had used them whilst on holiday in Cornwall, Barrow in Furness and Bridlington that I can remember. I had no complaints about the washes.
          I would welcome some kind of assurance from the local authority that they are licenced and the money is not going to criminal gangs.
          As we are all aware car washes are not the only places this is going on.

            They come out of our local one, it never stops for 10 hours at a weekend. Cars look fantastic. But to clean that we'll and that fast they use seriously strong chemicals. And as for the drying about 6 of them do each car, they don't rotate microfibers that often.
            But for some people it's quick, sometimes cheap and cars from a distance look like spent hours on them.

            Would never take my car there .

              I never use them...Cloth droppers the lot of them. They don't give a fk about your car. Can't do the wage they're on and the amount of cars that go through those places. It's just a conveyor belt to them. Fine for those who just want a clean car and don't care about their paint work but over time you just end up with dull paintwork full of swirls and scratches.

                    It certainly is........fortunately there's been a few admin have viewed this.......and have saved this tasteful movie to files for late.
