Evening all ordered some cheapo ones does the bumper need to come off and am I right there is a crash bar behind bumper didn't want to drill holes in wrong place thanks

Bumper needs to come off mate.
Once off, the bumper has the locations marked on them for where the OEM ones are fitted to.
Use these and you can't go wrong

I haven't fitted them myself, but yes there are crash bars front and rear and there should be a big lump of polystyrene behind the rear bumper for low impact absorption. You will probably need some help removing and refitting so you don't cause scratches etc. Have fun.

Sorry for interjecting here
But when I did mine I drilled the holes just below the crash bar so that the bumper did not have to be removed
My set were made by cisbro ( I think)
But it was on the saloon version
In the instructions there was a minimum height above ground and all was ok
Just had to adjust the range on the control module.
No doubt I shall now get shot down in flames .

But if you want a pukka job then take the bumper off .
