  • New Owner from Rotherham

    Hi All,

Just bought a grey 63 Plate facelift Insignia Elite after my S Type final decided to die

So far Ive enjoyed driving the Insignia and im really happy with the MPG having driven a 3.0 Jag for a year!

I have a couple of gremlins that hopefully someone here can help with. So far the forum has been a big help!

    Thanks,

    James

I'd say the biggest thing is the interior, the jag was starting to look a little dated. I've gone for the elite as Im a sucker for leather but the infotainment, dash, speedo etc all look really modern in comparison. Of course the Jag was petrol and I havent driven a Diesel for a while so power delivery is different, if im honest the Jag was smoother to drive and felt faster at speed but the Insignia is much perkier low down.

The Jag was a great car, served me well and I didnt spend a bean on it other than consumables, but Im really happy with the VX and hope to run around trouble free for a while if possible!
