The drain is 100% due to the android unit. It's the exact same issue I had when I bought an android unit from Icebox for my facelift 2 and a half years ago. The unit doesn't fully power down. Lots of parasitic battery drain tests were done and all stayed above the norm after the car powered down after around 10 minutes. Had mine into VX and they said the drain probably wouldn't affect someone who does a lot of daily mileage but anyone who does short trips and leaves the car for a day or two will come back to a flat battery.
I hoped mine was just a dud but it looks like all the facelift icebox units might be like it.2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport Sri Nav 1.5 (165ps) Turbo petrol in Lava Red - Keyless entry and start - 18” five spoke alloy wheels - Front fog lights - Tinted rear windows - Aluminium sports pedals - Ambient interior led lighting - Front and rear parking assist - Active emergency braking - Forward collision assist - Front pedestrian alert - Traffic sign recognition - Lane keep assist - Cruise control - Speed warning and limiter - Voice recognition - Bluetooth - Duel zone climate control - Front and rear electric windows - High beam assist - Auto lights - Auto wipers - Wifi hotspot - 8” colour touchscreen Navi 900 with Android Auto, Apple Car Play and DAB

BTW my post isn't to rub your nose in it, Rab.....It's to help focus the replies more on the Android unit rather than looking for issues elsewhere.2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport Sri Nav 1.5 (165ps) Turbo petrol in Lava Red - Keyless entry and start - 18” five spoke alloy wheels - Front fog lights - Tinted rear windows - Aluminium sports pedals - Ambient interior led lighting - Front and rear parking assist - Active emergency braking - Forward collision assist - Front pedestrian alert - Traffic sign recognition - Lane keep assist - Cruise control - Speed warning and limiter - Voice recognition - Bluetooth - Duel zone climate control - Front and rear electric windows - High beam assist - Auto lights - Auto wipers - Wifi hotspot - 8” colour touchscreen Navi 900 with Android Auto, Apple Car Play and DAB

I phoned Icebox and rightawat the guy said it's the canbus box that's faulty.
Now I'm sure if it was me, I'd be making sure I had "upgraded," boxes in stock.

Send the thing back Rab as its not fit for purpose----they should know and even tell customers that there is a problem with these units and with this virus thing going on how on earth are you going to get any answers from them-------Dave

That's the thing, when I phoned he told me the canbus box was faulty.
He advised me to fit my old unit as the canbus box had to be sent back to China to be checked and an new one sent back.....but he told he didn't know how long as the coronovirus outbreak was taken. Out the timescales for returns.....so it could take months

Exactly Rab---tell him that its of no use to you as it is so he can have it back and if and when they get themselves organised you will consider buying again----the unit should be under warranty anyway and you are protected by sales of goods act----if they are a decent company with decent customer service then it will show when you tell them you are returning it for a full refund-------hope this sorts itself out------Dave
