  • Broke my laptop screen last nite.

Whilst browsing the site last nite I sent the laptop over the arm of the couch (or maybe it jumped). Screen FUBAR. Any tips for replacement. I have the screen out ready to reorder. Its a Dell Inspirion, nearly 10yrs old. Any good or bad experiences with replacement screen sites?

Screens seem to be about the €50 mark, might replace, its a high spec laptop even though its 10 yrs old. Though it is running windows 7. Yeah not sure. Thanks.

On a serious note, that's not a bad price actually. Most times not economical to repair but different story if you're doing it yourself of course. To be fair, if it's at risk of damage as they normally are(one reason I hate them and the batteries)probably best to replace yourself like you seem to be doing.
