Remove the guard completely

Apparently if you remove the wheel you can get to it through the wheel arch.

The vacuum pumps are ok, but not great at getting any sludge out the bottom. Plus you would still need to get to the filter anyway.

Put a length of 10mm hose onto filter drain outlet and into what ever you drain oil into.

Slacken oil filter cap three or four turns till oil comes out of outlet and let it drain for a few minutes.

It saves oil spilling all over & into subframe which will drip out for days
