  • Elite heated seats - Need to get the heated function working

    Hi guys,

I'm sure someone has done it but can't find much info on this.

Have a set of elite leather seats I installed in my VX Line having removed the old cloth seats.

Anyone have a guide on wiring the heated functions?

I dont have the heated buttons on the dash.

You could probably wire it up with a separate switch or buy the climate panel with the buttons. Depends if you want the oem look or not

Nope it won't work. Would need to change components behind the dash. As it's for dual climate. I don't think you can even use it as single zone.

I've not tried it, if you lived closer you could of test fitted the ecu and panel to see if you could use it as single zone.

Like on dual climate you can press the sync button and when you press up and down they both change together.

Ah ok, so I would need just the buttons for heated seats and wire them in?

I can ask geniom. I already asked about the climate screen. He said it could be possible to have the touch screen but he hasn't looked into the modification. The pins in the ecu are different to single zone.

the heated seat wiring wont be in the plug, you plugged the seat into. they never add the wiring at factory if the extras are not gonna be fitted.

You need body wiring and you need dash wiring.
I looked into all this and apparently it's not been done by the DIY'er.

Andy at VXMods is your best bet.
