Kirk, welcome to the best place for everything Insignia. That's a lovely looking car, you don't see many 1.6T versions, I bet that's a smooth drive.

Cheers mate, yeah I couldn't find much info on them only car site reviews saying the engine was thirsty. It's very smooth and quiet and has decent pull. Funnily enough I had 2 exact black ones to choose from at the same dealer, identical but one was 2 months newer with 2000 miles less. That was all. The colour of yours lovely.

I didn't know the 1.6t came with duel exhausts. Looks so nice!

Don't worry too much about thirst, the diesels aren't a lot better. Just remember a few years ago a Sierra Cosworth or Cavalier turbo were halo cars with 200 horses! Enjoy.

Yeah it was the twin exhaust and the wheels which made me go for that engine. Plus I've never had anything more than a 160 diesel and I'm planning to keep this a good few years. Have you tinted your headlights?

Haha True! Nah I'm not worried. I do about 6,000 miles a year so it won't affect me to much. Good job I'm classed as a key worker so I can enjoy it while it's still new to me.

True, mine hasn't turned a wheel in the last fortnight! Been polished twice though

No, my headlights are standard. Yeah it makes the rear look more symmetrical with two exhausts. Mine had the hidden exhaust and after a short spell of adding a visible pipe another member found duel exhaust trims on AliExpress so I bought this one.
