Think the best advice I would give is steer clear of cheapy Karcher models. Those have plastic pump heads, and are prone to failure, either through use, or if they get frozen in the winter in a cold garage etc., they crack and it's game over. Happened to my previous one.
I upgraded to a Nilfisk C130.1 about 5 years ago. It has an aluminium pump head, so more robust. Other than replacing the odd o-ring on the lance and hose, it's been absolutely spot on. I've no doubt the model numbers will have changed since then, but as a brand, I can certainly recommend them.
