hey all,
Been a while since my last post, my question is, with current situation, funds are very tight but the "oil life" is nearly down to 0%, i know it won't hurt for now, but i would expect would be best to change, according to service book, the oil and filter was last done back on 25/04/19, since then the car has done about 9,000 miles, so would you say to get it done asap, being very tight budget, i'd need recommendations for cheap but suitable oil as I can always do another change a bit later when hopefully work picks up, I'm a key worker so I could get more work come in any time, just had unsuitable shifts coming up where I don't have funds to get me to and from my shifts for 2 weeks before I get paid.
Or the alternative would you say to leave it for a bit since barely using car other than odd trips to shop atm and hope my work picks up again soon, then spend more money to get it done with good oil?.
In the past i've just had cars I wasn't very concerned with, often way overdue at times for oil changes, but being cheap cars, wasn't concerned if had to replace the car, this car however is a bit much to have ruined due to lack of a change if it's best to go on the stated % of the car.
I seen this, but don't know how suitable it would be https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Engine-Oi...e/362693823392
Regards,
Gary
