  • 2017 Insignia B - Reprogram

    Hi All

    Just wanted some advise.

    My car was involved in a accident and took impact at the front.

    The garage my car went to had to replace steering rack and shocks and then needed the steering rack reprogrammed to the car which the car was taken to a Vauxhall Dealer to do.

    When the dealer has tried to reprogram they say it cannot be done and comes up with a mismatch code error.

    The dealer have contacted Vauxhall about this, has anybody had this issue before or know what could cause this?

    The garage that fixed my car have used genuine vauxhall parts.

    Any help would be great just so I can understand what is going on.

    Get your insurer to deal with it, if they can't repair it in a timely fashion request the repeat the work at vauxhall with new non faulty parts.

      Thanks I will contact them and ask them.

      They have had my car since 12/03/2020 as the parts were ordered and got delayed due to the lockdown and have been waiting for a dealer to take the car in for the reporgram.

      Now im stuck with this issue and its driving me mad

        Have they provided a courtesy car while they have yours?

            I'm guessing it's your claim then, as if it was a third party liability for damage you could push to get courtesy car.
