Hi,
Got the high pressure split hose on my siggy. The missus started saying that is mwas making a bit of a noise when she steered. It was dark but i noticed fluid all over the bonnet inside and after looking down the bottom I can see the pipe leaking when the
wheel is turned. So definitely the recuperate. The reservoir was frothy. There was a bit of a noise when I started it the next day but when I topped it up with fluid the noise went and it ran smoother.
How much of a bitch of a job is it to replace this pipe? Other jobs ive done on the car is the EGR cooler housing and that was a massive pain in the arse, talk about fiddly.
Ive seen some good videos online but I was wondering:
Do I drain all of the PSF out of the system.
Silly question I know but I was wondering if the pump would get damaged by doing this.
What PSF do you recommend? I've checked on ECP and they offer loads. Mines a 2.0 Auto if that makes a difference.
Or do i bite the bullet and just take it to my local garage?
Cheers
